Line Hop is the second game I had worked on during my time at Pinaka. It's essentially an endless 'shifter' in which you shift the ball to the next line and avoid incoming obstacles.
We didn't want to go with anything complex with regards to the idea, the elements or the design, so we settled for something minimal and retro. There was emphasis given on the sound design of it. With thorough research, I was able to provide the best sounds that perfectly aligned with the aesthetic of the entire game. The overall UX of the game was also vastly improved due to much playtesting and feedback that I've done.
Since I was exploring my hand with content marketing as it was one of my interests, I also helped build the content and dabble into the marketing aspects to help the player base of the game grow, such as looking into Instagram influencers, introducing keywords and App SEO to help grow the number of direct searches. This helped the game rise up quickly to be one of the prominent search results on the Play Store.
